  • Q What about casting integrity?

    A Investment castings are in a league by themselves and are being used for many commercial and critical applications with a great success. In many material applications and in the appropriate size range investment casting is the “go to” process of choice. We go to extra lengths to ensure your confidence often doing pre-production x-ray and other examinations to bring confidence in your experience of purchasing from Fuchun Precision Castings Co.,ltd.

  • Q WHAT IS A CNC MILLING MACHINE?

    A A CNC Milling Machine is controlled by a computer. It is generally used with a vertical or horizontal milling machine and can move the spindle along the Z-axis.

  • Q Can you accept drawings electronically?

    A  Yes, for your rapid response quote, please contact us.

  • Q Which industries benefit from CNC machining?

    A Many industries benefit from CNC machining, though they are far more necessary in some fields than others. Different CNC machines are capable of different levels of detail during production. 

  • Q Do you offer any design services for a machined part? If not, what does a company need to present upfront?

    A We do have design capabilities but the customer must approve and assume responsibility for the final design. Please submit a fully defined product including all necessary prints, CAD models, specifications, etc. along with the estimated annual usage.

  • Q What types of CNC machining are there?

    A There are several different types of CNC machining. These include CNC turning, CNC milling, and CNC lathes.

  • Q Do you have the capabilities for large and/or small production?

    A We have the flexibility to handle both large and small production runs. Fuchun Precision Casting prides itself in meeting your specific requirements and deadlines.

  • Q Which software for design in your company ?

    A Mainly AutoCAD and Pro/E.
    Sometimes we wish to get the drawings of IGS/STEP types!

  • Q Which surface finishes can you provide?

    A Castings can be supplied in the natural state or with a variety of surface treatments such as anodising, plating, painting or lacquering.

  • Q How long does it take for a quote?

    A 24 to 48 hours.

  • Q Can you supply test certificates relating to the castings?

    A Letters of conformity, certificates of analysis and test certificates can be issued relating to all castings if requested in the order. 

  • Q Have you a recognized Quality Assurance Certificate?

    A We are certified to ISO 9001:2008 QA System. View our certification here.

  • Q Will you undertake sample castings?

    A We can offer a full sample service to prove your design before going into batch production.

  • Q What is the material of your product?

    A All kinds of ferrous metal, stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, nodular cast iron, gray cast iron and etc.

  • Q What is your quality control capabilities?

    A Chemical analyze, tensile, charpy, hardness, UT, MT

  • Q How many square meters do our factory occupy?

  • Q Hong long do you deal with inquiry?

    A

    1.Drawings translation, transferred to technology department audit, and confirm related product information.

    2.Preliminary drawings, technical department to determine whether or not the factory production and technical capabilities.

    3.Technology review drawings, and docking with the quality department to review, after for drawing and points out that the drawings did not indicate the main technical points of the quotation.

    4.The sales department in a timely manner will quote or need to modify the drawings or design feedback to the sales department.

    5.Sales department at the first time send quotation information or drawings to the customer.

    6.Deal with inquire finish within 2days.

  • Q Are your factory only foundry, or foundry and machining?

    A

    We have foundry and machining in the same place.

  • What are your target markets?

  • Which process controls do you carry out?

    We have ISO 9001 certification, implements procedures for checking the feasibility of products and compliance with delivery times, acceptance tests and inspections of incoming raw materials, production start-up controls, production controls, cleaning controls and final inspection.

  • Do you price by weight?

    All pricing is determined using materials, labour, machining and complexity as the main factors

  • What are the types of die-casting mold?

    Dies are classified as: single cavity, multiple cavity, combination and unit dies.

    A single cavity die requires no explanation. Multiple cavity dies have several cavities which are all identical. If a die has cavities of different shapes, it’s called a combination or family die. A combination die is used to produce several parts for an assembly. For simple parts, unit dies might be used to effect tooling and production economies. Several parts for an assembly, or for different customers, might be cast at the same time with unit dies. One or more unit dies are assembled in a common holder and connected by runners to a common opening or sprue hole. This permits simultaneous filling of all cavities.

  • What is the difference between die casting and sand casting?

    The complete cycle of the die casting process is by far the fastest known for producing precise non-ferrous metal parts. This is in marked contrast to sand casting which requires a new sand mold for each casting. While the permanent mold process uses iron or steel molds instead of sand, it is considerably slower, and not as precise as die casting.
