This design allows the molten steel to fill the mould cavity quickly and smoothly.

Pouring Temperature and Superheat

Because stainless steel precision casting requires a high pouring temperature, the liquid steel must be superheated. A longer holding time at the correct temperature can improve fluidity. However, if the pouring temperature is too high, it can directly cause coarse grains, hot cracking, and other defects.
